Application precautions and custom silk screen printing

MOS application precautions

1. The marked Id current is the maximum normal current of the MOS chip, and the actual maximum normal current during use is also limited by the maximum current of the package. Therefore, when designing products for customers, the maximum usage current setting should consider the maximum current limit of the packaging. It is recommended that customers consider the internal resistance parameters of MOS more importantly when setting the maximum operating current when designing products.

2. It is recommended to install a resistor (10K) or a voltage regulator diode (5V-12V) between the gate source (G/S) terminals of the MOS to protect the gate source (G/S) from over voltage.

3.It is recommended to increase the opening voltage of the MOS transistor as much as possible, so that the MOS transistor can fully open for conduction. At this time, the internal resistance is minimized and it is not easy to overheat. It is generally recommended to set the VGS turn-on voltage of low-voltage MOS to 4.5V or above, and the turn-on voltage of medium and high voltage MOS to 10V or above.

4.MOS precaution:

Static electricity can be generated in many places. Taking the following preventive measures can effectively prevent damage to MOS circuits caused by static discharge noise:

•  Operators should be grounded through anti-static wristbands.

•  The equipment casing must be grounded.

•  The tools used during the assembly process must be grounded.

•  Must be packaged or transported using conductor packaging or anti-static materials.

Reflow soldering: maximum temperature not exceeding 260 degrees Celsius @ maximum time not exceeding 30 seconds

Wave soldering: maximum temperature not exceeding 240 degrees Celsius @ maximum time not exceeding 5 seconds
